Assistant to Controller/Accounting Department
We are creating a new position within our Accounting Department. As part of a public company's internal controls, we have need of a staff member will assist our Controller with financial reporting and Balance Sheet/Income and Loss Statements to Officers of the company. Individual must be proficient and have qualifications in the following areas:
Proficient in Quickbooks (specifically Pro and/or Enterprise)
Associate Degree in Accounting (or business experience equal to)
Backup for invoicing of franchisees and subsequent ACH payments
Bank Reconciliations
Adjusting Journal Entries (for Controller)
Backup for payroll
Knowledge of public company accounting/reporting a plus
Will assist Controller and Accounting Staff in audit processEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
