Automotive Program Manager

This position is responsible for managerial duties related to all aspects of the Automotive, Heavy Duty Truck & Bus Program which includes coordinating, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the program functions, services, curriculum, and student results. Implementation and oversight of the areas expansion to include the addition of Diesel and CNG programs.
Essential Functions
o Coordinates Automotive, Heavy Duty Truck & Bus Program meetings and other related activities as appropriate.
o Maintains open lines of communication and positive relationships with other program staff and agencies.
o Assists in the development of survey procedures to solicit opinions, suggestions, and recommendations that relate to the policies and operation of the Automotive, Heavy Duty Truck & Bus Program.
o Monitors the maintenance of records, budgets and data base for the Automotive, Heavy Duty Truck & Bus Program and assists in preparation of reports and other program evaluations.
o Facilitate operations and setup new program that includes ordering materials and equipment, facilities design, and layout.
o Works closely with the VP of Instructional Programs in providing ongoing oversight of the Automotive, Heavy Duty Truck & Bus Program.
o Performs curriculum planning for each class.
o Determines daily lecture of subject content.
o Actively provides instruction to students in area of expertise.
o Manages production for area assigned.
o Manages station checklists for production and clean up.
o Monitors instructional assessments, attendance, and adherence to procedures and discipline.
o Assists in the development of policies and procedures for the Automotive, Heavy Duty Truck & Bus Program.
Minimum Education and Experience
o Associate's Degree.
o Six years' experience and background in hands-on automotive techniques, experience, education, administration/management of programs or related disciplines.
o ASE Master Level Certification.
o Experience in an ASE accredited school preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
o Knowledge of automotive programs as it pertains to education and instruction.
o Ability and skill in curriculum planning, management, and instruction.
o Demonstrates ability to work with people.
o Ability and willing to work flexible hours.
o Ability to compose written material, analytical reasoning skills, and high energy to perform and complete tasks.
o Skill in organization, management, and planning.
o Ability to attain Test of Adult Education scores of 12.0 in Reading, Math and Language.

This position has a competitive salary range & robust benefits package through St. Johns County School District, to include health, dental, disability, and FL State retirement system. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
